This year is different! I started the end of 2017 learning about finances -- credit building and restoration. And, this year I am so excited to see my credit score has increased over 100 points since I started! And, I am just beginning! I have started aggressively saving and my situation is changing. Because of my commitment to becoming educated about finances, my business is now qualifying for business credit!
This year -- 2019 is going to be Golden!

Remove inaccurate information from your credit report
You can start by removing errors from your credit report. While scanning your credit report, look for any hard inquiries that you did not authorize. Hard inquiries could lower your score as much as five points per inquiry. Get the creditor to prove that you gave them permission to pull your credit report, and if they can’t prove it, then the inquiry must be deleted according to the law. You should also inspect your report for the following:
Know who is looking at your credit report
When you give your Social Security number out on applications, you are giving the creditor permission to look at your credit report, but you have to watch it to see if unauthorized users are looking at it too. If a creditor pulls your report without your authorization it can lower your credit score. So, you want to immediately dispute the unauthorized inquiry with the bureau.
Contact the creditor
And, of course, there is more! Become a member and get details and a coach to assist in the process. Contact us for information about becoming a member of the FLP (Financial Literacy Program).
